IF you are working for a non-profit company, then you are more concerned about how to make this world a better world for people around you. The story that we will tell today is about someone who became very passionate about helping others that in the end she gained great success.
The story of Mariah begins when she was a young girl of 7. The childhood that Mariah experienced was a fairly comfortable one with loving parents who provide all of their familys needs. Like a typical average family,
It was on one shopping day that Mariah got a surprise of her life by seeing a very poor man in tattered clothes walking down the street. Mariahs pities the man who had sad eyes and it moved her to ask her mom to buy some food for the poor man. Indeed, the man has not eaten for days and he hungrily dug into the slices of pizza that they bought for him.
Something began to change in Mariahs heart through that incident. As she was growing up, the passion for helping other people grow strong in her heart. The passion in her to help others led her to ask her parents to volunteer in a soup kitchen. In time, the family of Mariah began joining other programs that help the less fortunate people in their community.
Mariahs parents soon taught her that if she wants this to be her life, then she has to start doing something to make it possible for her to give to others instead of giving away something that belongs to another. Mariah understood what her parents were saying so at a very young age, she got a job waiting tables at a restaurant.
With her money, she gave half away and saved half for herself. With money to spend, Mariah buys toys for children during Christmastime.
One day her teacher encouraged her to start a blog on her work of helping the community which could bring inspiration to others to do the same. Mariah had no idea how to start a blog but with much difficulty gave it a shot. This was not something she as comfortable with so promoting her blog was really tough.
